Jenna Caldwell has served in non-profits for the past 15 years with expertise in operations, organizational strategy, human resources, talent development, and workplace culture. In her 10 years at the National Center for Teacher Residencies (NCTR), she worked to build the HR/Talent department from scratch, taking the organization from a staff of 5 to 25 during that time. This included developing a hiring and onboarding process, writing employee policies, handling employee relations issues, training new managers, and monitoring staff engagement and satisfaction.
She also served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO, leading NCTR’s strategic initiatives. Jenna was certified in SHRM and earned her master’s degree in public service management. Prior to NCTR, Jenna served in operational roles at non-profits and as a music and after school teacher in Americorps. She’s based in Chicago.
